Illinois Dollars for Scholars:
Collegiate Partners

Collegiate Partners are colleges, universities, and other accredited post-secondary institutions that support Dollars for Scholars®. When taken to the campus of a Collegiate Partner, Dollars for Scholars scholarships go further toward a student’s tuition.

Collegiate Partners use Dollars for Scholars scholarship awards to fill any unmet need remaining after the student's initial financial aid package has been calculated. Collegiate Partners further agree that the first $ 1,000 in Scholarship America®-related scholarships (including Dollars for Scholars scholarships) will not be used to reduce grant assistance from the institution, thus helping students make the most of their scholarship awards. Collegiate Partners reduce student debt and bolster the impact of Dollars for Scholars scholarships.

Some Collegiate Partners make an additional commitment as Matching Partners, matching scholarship awards coming to them from Dollars for Scholars chapters when unmet need still exists.

There are 30 Collegiate Partners in Illinois and approximately 500 nationwide for Illinois Dollars for Scholars scholarship recipients to choose from.
